Escape to this waterfront getaway and enjoy the tranquility of the Sooke Basin. A beautiful Pacific Ocean basin opening into the Juan de Fuca Strait and the San Juan Islands off of the west coast of Canada.
Active outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the easy access to running, blading and cycling the Galloping Goose Trail bike paths leading all the way into scenic Victoria; hiking the Regional Parks and exploring the hidden beaches and rocky shores under a canpopy of giant Cedars and rare Arbutus trees.
Water enthusiasts will enjoy being 10 minutes from Matheson Lake with clear, clean, boatless lake swimming and beaching it while 20 minutes takes you to Thetis Lake for beaches and boating and water sports.
About the Sooke Ocean Escape
This ocean front duplex accommodation includes:
- • 2,500 square feet of space per side
- • Deck (joint with separation screen if desired) with uninterrupted ocean view
- • 20' x 40' foot dock for moorage of power or sail boats (shared by both units)
- • 4 bedrooms per side with king, queen, and twin availability with 2 additional fold down futons in the recreational area
- • Baby crib available
- • 4 bathrooms w/ 2 showers
- • Full kitchen and laundry on site
- • Indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit
- • BBQ
- • Lawn games including badminton, volleyball, and croquet
- • Dogs allowed with respectful care and clean-up (fenced property)
